Food that is nutrient dense and filling:
1/2 c. Fiber One cereal with 1/2 c. light Soy milk = 100 calories,
18 smaller size almonds = 100 calories,
small salad of greens, onion, red bell pepper, etc. mixed with 2 tsp. oil and some vinegar = 100 calories,
Dannon Lite yogurt = 60 calories,
1 hard boiled egg = 70 calories,
2 oz. deli chicken or turkey slices = 50 calories,
10 baby carrots = 40 calories, small can V-8 juice = 30 calories,
indiv. container of Motts no sugar added applesauce = 50 calories, 4 oz. cottage cheese = 40 calories.
I do like hard-boiled eggs (except only the yolk). I wonder if there’s a way to eat that with something else.
I also like baby carrots and cottage cheese is good. I forgot about that…
Pantrypuff! Maybe mash the egg with a wee bit of fat free mayo and put it all on top of a slice or two of cucumber?
A friend of mine in real life told me she snacks on dry Cherrios – measured out in a baggie. She has lost 97 pounds and has maintained it since April. She is a real inspiration. Needless to say, I bought some Cherrios.
